We prefer to stay downtown rather than on the strip. Everything is much closer together so it's easier to go from place to place without having to walk forever.

On Thursday, we headed to the strip to do some shopping, sightseeing and gambling.

We rented a a brand new Mustang convertible while we were there. We tried to rent a motorcycle but, due to the Las Vegas River Run, we were unable to get one.
On Friday, we took a ride out to the Valley of Fire:

On Saturday, we came back home. Our plane was delayed about an hour, while we were sitting in it, but the pilot managed to make up some of the lost time in flight.

As a side note...every time my husband and I have gone gambling he wins and I lose...makes me sick LOL
